House of Commons Dinner 2009

We are pleased to report that our annual dinner and auction at the House of Commons was again this year a great success. The event recorded a profit of just under 30,000, which is a fantstic result given the current economic climate.

Two of the older clients of the Charity, now both in their 20s, gave moving speeches on what the work of Second Chance and in particular it's founder, Doug Hulme, had done for them.

Thanks must once again go to our excellent auctioneer Neil Freeman.

We will be sure to let you know the date for next years dinner as soon as it is booked!
